The reason behind Xavi Hernandez being left disappointed with FC Barcelona has been revealed.

Barcelona had a mixed end to the 2021/22 season. La Blaugrana missed out on the Europa League trophy after being sent packing by eventual winners Eintracht Frankfurt.

However, they did secure a 3^rd-placed finish in La Liga, which seemed unlikely when Xavi first took the reins last year.
