Qutub Minar, built from 1192-1220, was started by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, first ruler of Delhi Sultanate. Shamsuddin Iltutmish completed a further three stories. Qutb Minar at 72.5 meters, is the tallest minaret in the world built of bricks!
